Hey everyone hope that you are having a great summer… It’s going by too fast as usual! Last year was the second year for the 5K Watermelon Run and it was very exciting. But as good as it was last year, we're working to make this one even better. The course is still the same challenging run through the rolling hills of Rush Springs and will once again take place on the Saturday of the Watermelon Festival. The date is August 13th. The race will again start at 7:30am with medals being given to 1st-3rd for all age and gender groups. Like last year we'll also have a 1 Mile Fun Walk for those that just want to participate but can not or don’t want to run the 5K. The cost again this year is $20 ($10 for the Fun Walk).
